Can't catch my breath.

-Jesse is in ALS now. It's nice to have him back on day shift, but it's totally rocked our world/schedule and we are trying to adjust. I would much rather deal with snoring and alarm clock wars than have my husband deployed, but holy crap it is taking some serious getting used to! Jaxon has not learned to sleep through Jesse leaving in the morning yet, so instead of my 7:30-8:00am baby I am used to, I'm dealing with 6:00 baby. Big difference for my brain!

-Jaxon has had a yuck-o cold for a few days. Tomorrow will be a week. It's just a runny nose and the occasional dry couch or sneeze. I figure if he's not better tomorrow I will call the Dr. to make sure he doesn't have something more than a cold. He did cut two teeth, so now he has six. There are two more poking through. He has been sleeping most of the night/taking his naps just fine, but last night he was up 4-5 times. It's starting to remind me of Ear Infection Hell. Awesome. Maybe I will call the Dr. at some point today...

-Jesse and I went couch shopping this week. We have never had "new" furniture.... Crazy huh? The only thing we have bought new since we've been married, as far as large furniture goes, is our king size bed. Oh what a good idea that bed was! So anyway, our couches are on their second family (us, duh) so they have definitely seen better days. They work, but they are not comfortable. The couch has a hide-a-bed in it, so it is sagging in the middle something terrible! And the "love seat" is actually two recliners, and one doesn't recline anymore and the other is so uncomfortable it's ridiculous! Oh and they are just small and dare I say, uuuuugly. So we went and looked around a bit. We found a few couches that we liked, and we measured last night to see what would/wouldn't fit. Now we have to decide which side of the couch we want to order the chaise on.....

That's really all I have.... Coffee and breakfast and rocking with a whiny, sad, sick baby.

I know he doesn't look sick in those pictures, but he definitely was too excited about his new toy to remember he was sick I think.

Oh, what I would GIVE for a chaise on our couch. That is my DREAM when we ever get new furniture!

Lizzy has the nose thing again too. It never goes away.

YAY for couch shopping. Our couches are DISGUSTING. I HATE them. I will live through you if you get new ones =) Lol
